Viajarás media hora entre densos bosques de pino y campos de sembradíos. El Santuario mismo es cruzado por la carretera y puedes tomar la opción de verlas justo a la altura de la carretera, que se inunda de mariposas a medio día; o de subir al Santuario que esta a unos 30 minutos hacia arriba del cerro, en una caminata sensacional.
También pueden bajar al bebedero de las mariposas, un pequeño jagüey en la base del cerro. De regreso te llevamos a comer a un restaurante espectacular a pie de carretera con una comida local deliciosa. El lugar es realmente apacible y no hay muchos turistas, lo que hace que la visita sea aún mejor. Esta es una experiencia única en la vida adentrarse en ese mar de colores en vuelo
